A student's plot buttons and UI elements stop responding — they can't interact with any tools or menus.
Symptoms
- Student has claimed a plot and was working fine
- Suddenly no buttons or UI elements respond to clicks
- May happen after switching tools or after a lag spike
- Other students on the same server are fine
Possible Causes
- ContextActionService callback error (470+ occurrences in error dashboard — a broken require path)
- Script that handles UI interaction was destroyed during an async operation
- Build tools Handles callback fires after the tool was switched
Workaround
- Rejoin the game — this is the most reliable fix
- If that doesn't work, Settings > Reset Character
- If it happens repeatedly to the same student, note their username for investigation
